The tricky Golf Game in a Square

It's a golf course of 9 holes where you have to set the angle and the power for each shot and as always you need to get the ball into the hole with the least amount of strokes.

It was programmed with p5.js, a library mostly used for procedural art, but it is flexible and fast and so I picked it this time because I found it challenging to code all the physics myself. And the sounds are - like in almost all of my games - made with my mouth.

So, I hope you like it. Remember to rate my golf game and have fun!

This game was created in 10 days during the GameDev.tv Game Jam 2026.

« Controls »

You can play with:

• your Mouse,
• mobile with Touch and
• also with your Keyboard.

For the keyboard use the left and right arrow keys to set the angle and for all actions and also to hit the ball use space or c.

« How to play? »

If something doesn't work, try reloading the page and/or restarting the game!

1. Set the Angle by clicking or touching on the golf area or by pressing the left and right arrow key.
   
   
2. Click the button when ready or press c or space.
   
   
3. Wait for the power you want to have for the stroke and click again the button or press c or space.
   
   
4. Repeat until the ball reaches the goal

The idea, code with the physics, sounds and layout is all made by me, Plif.

A lot of feedback, brainstorming  and motivation I got from @bananicorn and also feedback and especially the idea for the last, the 9th, hole I received from @jumpingdino. And last but not least @Julia suggested the name for this golf game. Thank you very much to everyone of you!
